This three-day course is designed for gun dog owners and enthusiasts who would like to understand how to use positive reinforcement principles to train their own gun dogs. Some of the topics covered will be: fundamentals of positive reinforcement training, building drive, quartering, flushing, pointing, steadiness, retrieving, etc.

Positive Gun Dog Training Certification Preparation
This five-day course is designed to provide trainers and dog-industry experts with in-depth knowledge about positively training gun dogs. Some of the topics covered will include fundamentals of positive-reinforcement training, advanced training principles, building drive, quartering, flushing, pointing, steadiness, retrieving, problem solving, field hazards, business principles.
This course results in the opportunity to test for the PGDT-KP Certification (price of testing included in tuition).

Denver offers numerous hotels and restaurants within 10 minutes of Denver International Airport. Additional information on accommodations will be provided prior to workshop dates based on the location of the workshop. Attendees should plan on providing for their transportation while in Denver.
